Why ElopeScout exists
Planning a small wedding should not require a large middleman.
The short version
We scout them. You choose them.
ElopeScout is an open directory for couples planning an elopement or micro-wedding in Europe. It began with a simple frustration: too many wedding platforms hide the people doing the work, require an account before revealing basic details, or take a percentage of the booking.
We think the internet can be more straightforward. A photographer should appear under their own name. A planner should be able to send you to their own website. A couple should be able to compare options without surrendering an email address first.
So we research destinations, organise practical information and present independent vendors clearly. If someone feels right, the conversation becomes yours. No marketplace inbox. No anonymous quote. No commission folded into the price of the day.

Direct means direct
When you find someone promising, you leave ElopeScout and talk to them. We do not capture the lead.

Fewer, better options
The goal is not to build the largest database. It is to make a useful shortlist easier to trust.

Useful before inspirational
Beautiful photographs matter. So do road access, weather, paperwork, prices and honest local context.
The useful directory is the one confident enough to let you leave it.
We may introduce paid featured positions later. They will always be labelled, and payment will never purchase a false review or hide the independent options below them.
