Perla Iceland Celebrant

Perla is an independent Icelandic wedding celebrant and a legal wedding officiant contracted with Siðmennt, the Icelandic Ethical Humanist Association. She specializes in personal, non-religious humanist ceremonies held outdoors in Icelandic nature, and works extensively with foreign couples eloping to Iceland.

Because she is also a licensed tour guide, she helps couples choose ceremony locations and can suggest photographers and planners. She communicates with couples in the months before the wedding, guides them through Iceland's legal marriage paperwork, and can weave in traditions such as handfasting and drinking from a Viking horn.
