Styrmir & Heiðdís

Styrmir and Heiðdís are Icelandic partners and photographers known for raw, cinematic wedding and elopement stories. With more than 300 weddings and shoots behind them, they work across Iceland's volcanoes, glaciers, black beaches, waterfalls and highland valleys while embracing the island's shifting weather rather than trying to hide it.

Their approach favours movement, emotion and atmosphere over rigid posing. They photograph elopements, larger weddings and couple sessions, and their local experience helps couples plan around light, access, seasons and the realities of spending a wedding day outdoors in Iceland.
